"There is no global decarbonization trend: both emissions and temperatures continue to rise."

"Likewise, there is no global dematerialization, or as it’s more commonly branded, decoupling. Total material extraction and use continue to rise."

There's some peace in acceptance of humans, a failed dna experiment. If environmental ravaging without a care hadn't done it, genocide streamed and unhindered completed my "Who cares? No loss." All I find worthwhile now, are efforts to reduce the suffering ahead. Beyond a reform too late, long ago.

That the repeatedly exposed lies I've heard so often, since the Gulf of Tonkin, can still manipulate as many in the US as they do, reenforces my late, history teacher friend's slogan: "Humans, a failed experiment."

Reality. Find your community of allies to share practical knowledge and material resources, and prepare, to reduce suffering the existential deprivations, institutional neglrct and deliberately inflicted dangers ahead. Normalcy bias will sadly cause most not to do this. Chose to be an exception.

Say hello to President Palantir. An informal "Sieg Heil!" will suffice. For now.

I'm looking at a big crop of it across the road. Rotation here is soy/corn/winter wheat. We moved from SoCal to Amish farm country a year ago and are readying off grid capacity because we know what's coming. Now I fear for our neighbors suffering insane tariffs, whose damage has just begun to build.

I believe it's a play on Newsom's maskless French Laundry fund raising dinner, during the height of the Covid lockdowns. Not a very good attempt at humor, but the animus towards Newsom probably keeps it in circulation.
