I wanted to make an enamel pin to honor Nezuko, who tragically passed away a week ago. With costs being over $15,000, sales would help relieve some of the costs.

For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

So what deeply offends me about AI is that on top of the obvious moral issues, this is just bad business. When you rely on the slop machine to make art, what’s to stop your competitors from doing the same? If all content is crap, why would anyone buy it?

Please understand that all your favorite million-dollar IPs were created by artists that get nothing more than a typical company paycheck. They don’t get royalties on the sales and oft aren’t even rewarded with bonuses or anything for creating such a valuable brand.
