It can be frustrating, but I imagine it's a much easier gig than games media!
I should clarify I'm talking about non-ad pop ups as I work mostly on a university website but yeah we've done user research on that kind of thing before. Users hate them, end of.

The mobile internet is a pretty grim place right now. I work in UX and actively fight against this kind of nonsense on mobile breakpoints but there are always pressures from stakeholders to add stuff like pop ups to capture leads

As an overly polite Brit, the idea that a staff member of a hotel that you're a guest of would feel it's appropriate to say that is absolutely mad. I almost respect it if it weren't such a detestable opinion

Genuine question, what's the appeal of wrestling (I assume you mean entertainment wrestling as opposed to competitive?) it's something I enjoyed as a kid but don't really get as an adult

Grew up in the UK but as a stupid kid I'd have probably said China, which makes no sense but that's just the phrase you'd hear... 'keep digging til you get to China'

Really enjoying the game so far. Plays silky smooth 120fps on my laptop too which is a nice bonus. The music is an unexpected highlight
