The $25 for a turkey leg is ridiculous. I purchased a 1.5 lb smoked one at Walmart for a little over $6. That's retail. Wholesale in bulk they should be $5 or less apiece.

I see you had clouds like I did. Did you appreciate the shadows cast on the dry lake bed? I don't think I've been in such a large, flat, open space that allowed the interplay between sky and sand/scrub like at the VLA.

My 1C 1X Cecile Pimental was the staff genealogist at the Newburyport library for 20+ years and Hannah was the first "Wikipedia entry" ancestor with whom I became aware in 2001.
In 2018 I came back to MA and visited her statue. Had a nice visit with cousins at the Dustin Garrison House in 2022
