The raises granted to Mississippi educators by vote, have been eaten alive by inflation. How great a state are we if our educators can’t afford to live in the very districts they teach in? Our schools have been allowed to rot while private schools thrive.

New tax payers? Jobs for men that don’t require almost dying or leaving the state to feed their families? Social programs that give working class citizens that AIDE them in getting to work, fixing healthy meals, and being able to afford the time to raise our kids and help with homework?
