Locally obsolete art department coordinator haunting Hollywood’s ghost. You might know me from Ted (Peacock original)? Authoring a novel for some reason. Who cares.
Given that your pinned post references the cross, I assume you consider yourself a follower of Jesus. If so, before replying to strangers, I encourage you to consider what Jesus tells his followers in John 13:35: “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Imagine your wettest dreams are encountering trans women in public restrooms and showing the world you can violate human rights with the worst of them.

Because paying him off has never shown him he can come back for more. I used to think lawyers and executives must be pretty smart if they were able to become lawyers and executives.

Marge’s desperate acts of cruelty will someday fail to reward her with the clownish infamy she mistakes for relevance. I hope when that day comes she’ll find herself utterly alone in an abyss of shame and regret.

I’m a registered Democrat in California, so this won’t affect much, but I will no longer vote for any candidate who doesn’t vocally and actively support trans rights. Voting for those who shy away from supporting trans rights rewards the Democratic Party’s abandonment of trans people.

Had the same gut feeling watching that monologue. I decided to give Mike White the benefit of the doubt that he wasn’t suggesting anything about trans women, maybe because I was mesmerized by Rockwell’s incredible performance, and it was the strongest moment yet in a subpar season. Disappointing.

The boy, the dad, and the social worker in the third episode—incredible performances. And it’s the best use of single take I can think of since Children of Men.

I’ve been watching older shows I missed when they were airing or new. Aquarius is good. The Man in the High Castle is also good, but if you’re not familiar I’d google it before firing it up now; it’s like when people were watching Contagion at the start of Covid. This Is Us has been a nice escape.

You mean like TV shows? New episodes of The Pitt are the only thing I look forward to anymore, and Adolescence deserves the hype. Guess I can’t think of much else that excites me at the moment. If you didn’t mean TV, apologies for the off-topic reply.

I try to stress to the cis people closest to me that gender affirming care is not a luxury. Like they get it, but I sometimes wonder if they get-it get it?

What is a “gender activist”? I started my transition almost eight years ago and have no idea what a “gender activist” is. Like should I know what that is? Was I brainwashed by one? Is that what she’s saying?

What were the musical missteps? Your review doesn't mention them. I'm worried you mean the Aurora needle-drop, because that scene destroyed me, and the song was part of that destruction. If that's the misstep, I'll just feel silly for tearing up.
