He’s been saying this publicly for over a decade. I’m 100% it’s why he doesn’t give a shit about people.

Bus lane or not when it’s 2-3 busses to get where dt you need to be and there’s a 12min wait between busses plus a 10min walk it will always take an additional chunk of time. WS community meetings make it clear many residents don’t want transit, lest “those folks” come. I no longer go to meetings.

I’m not interested in biking downtown to work at 4:30 in the morning along that lovely path and dodging port traffic as well as whoever is around that decides to cause chaos, as has happened before. 1/2

I’ll still have a half mike walk to the bus, then a 10 min bus to the train. Assuming they don’t cancel the bus run (happens most days to at least 1 run).

Even reconfiguring busses would help. It’s a half mile walk for me to the bus stop since they cancelled WS routes in 2020. Busses that knot run 1 direction in the am and the other direction pm, strictly “standard” work hours don’t do much for many of us. Even with the 3 line, from where I live

it also requires a shuttle to the boat (or a 2 mike walk) and a bus. And it’s still 45 minutes minimum. It blows.

I don’t currently have a car and I hate it. West Seattle to downtown via bus is 45 minutes from home to office. It took me 10 minutes longer to drive to Olympus for work. the boat is limited and depending on the run (and its unreliability) is standing in the weather, exposed, for 20 minutes.

there is no actual season 2. ☹️ so everything we get state side is skewered.

PPMSC blends the activities found at a traditional senior center w/ services for adults experiencing homelessness and other crises. Seniors can find free meals, social workers, free fitness classes and social activities. The Pike Market Food Bank supports food security for people of all ages. 2/2

Why did you give your backing to Bruce Harrell for Seattle Mayor?

From 1992-2012 I didn’t have health insurance because it was financially unattainable. PP was the only healthcare I had access to. Seeing this happen again to such a vast amount of our communities is gutting. Whether explicit or “just an afterthought” they want is to die or be compliant. 💔

I am less FOMO and more “leave me out”. I’m over it like a bad summer fashion trend I never liked anyway.
