Today I spoke in #pensacola opposing a street named after #CharlieKirk . The street is in front of Escambia high school. My question to the commissioners was “Would you name the street “David Duke street”? Or “ Klu Klux Klan steeet” ? They looked mortified.! We defeated that proposal. #NoHate

Public #education in #Florida is being taken over by those privatizing and it’s pretty frightening to realize over half the kids are going to charter schools.

Incredible turn out for #NoKings all over #Florida. I spoke in Okaloosa and there where were about 1k in attendance - the messages from everyday people were powerful! In the panhandle thousands turned out from #Pensacola to #Tallahassee and everywhere in between. Clip from #Okaloosa today!!
