Is it me or does life imitate horror movie tropes a bit too much?

I’m not dead, obviously. But it’d be nice if social media gave me the opt in or out in advance for whether my digital footprint outlasts me. Social media activity shouldn’t get to define us now or forever.

Ironically being conscious of the things you take for granted does not make you any less likely to keep doing so. It’s the nature of being human, I think.
