If it's wrong then there's a good chance it's intentionally misleading.
I gave a real life example earlier with GDP stats and how a government intentionally tries to play a shell game with stats.

I want you to be quiet and go away now. You're annoying.

Again you're intentionally ignoring the lead up to what I said.
I said "..
if it's accurate, IF NOT, THEN IT'S MISLEADING OR A LIE."
IF NOT. Did you see that part? Do you not understand?

Ignore that part again. Go.

I said I'm questioning IF it's accurate, if not then it's going to be a lie or misleading. IF. Did you read that part? Or is your bias showing.
May 6, 2025 at 5:39 PM
Yes. I'm questioning if it's accurate. If it's not, it's at best misleading, at worst a lie.
May 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM
No. But it can be questioned.

An example.
In our last election the incumbent party made the claim that economy is best among the G7.
They pointed to stat showing best GDP improvement.
They ignored the stat that we have the lowest GDP/capita.
1 to 2 is a 100% improvement
8 to 9 is only 13% improvement.
It's fact, but misleading.

Chances are you made that up. 🙂

I think statistics can be manipulated. They always are.
May 6, 2025 at 11:49 AM
Lol. We are on the same landmass with what I think is the longest border between two countries. I'm sure there's some commonalities

When they eventually catch them, they're more often than not, new countrymen. Also repeat offenders. But I'm Canadian so maybe there's a difference.

I'm only speaking from personal experience. Based on that, it's hard to believe.
May 6, 2025 at 11:25 AM
Hard to believe.
We've had a hike in home invasions and carjackings in my neighborhood. When they catch them...let's just say there's a commonality.
