Oh I’m also visiting Vancouver! Biked around Stanley Park today and couldn’t recommend it enough. (But FYI it’s one way, counterclockwise only)

You’d love it!

Looking for a place to install an extremely long list of known names of those killed in Gaza. NYC or northeast, ideally. Any ideas?

Out here at one of the Brooklyn subway stations that’s been denied an elevator because of Hochul’s pause on congestion pricing. After talking to neighbors, it’s clear: Brooklyn riders want congestion pricing! unpause.nyc

Hakeem wants safety improvements on Bedford Ave in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.

Not just for his business, but for his life. He’s been hit 4 times while cycling in the city, once almost killing him.

The city has yet to fix critical safety flaws on this street. The time is now.

This is a concept for a mural I want to do. Basically finding space that used to be occupied by cars, then painting the cars back in to let people trample over them.

Last night @transalt.org had their annual Pedestrian Prom, it was a blast!

This is an installation I did for the event. On your phone, you could share your favorite TA memory. Then AI would turn it into a poem and print it out on receipt paper. Then you could pin it to the wall for all to read!

This happened just a block away from where Katherine Harris was killed earlier this year.

We marched down Atlantic Ave with a clear message to the Mayor and DOT: FIX ATLANTIC.

This is an absolutely bonkers response to the high death toll of older pedestrians due to traffic violence in Australia: to put people in 3D walking training simulators. 🤦

Just design safe streets!

Car-free and lovely!

Another delightful Summer Streets in Manhattan today 😌

And on the 26th, Summer Streets is coming to Brooklyn for the first time ever. We’re doing a @transalt.org ride! Sign up here https://mobilize.us/s/hmzghm

Fleet St, once a car's domain,
A parking lot, a city's bane,
Now a plaza, vibrant, neat,
Space for people, not a fleet.

Art emerges, colors grace,
A canvas takes the tires’ place,
Fleet St’s found a new heartbeat,
A Brooklyn gem, a new safe street.

Just grabbed this from DOT’s webcams of Times Square.

This is how the city allocates space in the most pedestrian-dense place in the country.

Pedestrianize Times Square!
