Size matters? The Mercator projection represented by in light blue, was created in 1569 by Gerardus Mercator. Adopted as the standard map for navigation in the 1700’s. The actual comparative map is the darker blue. Sorry TFG, Greenland isn’t green or larger than the US.

2023 Christmas in Cascais, Portugal.

I just came across this a few days ago. It was read as a eulogy for my wife. She died from metastatic breast disease 35 years ago at the age of 32. Wounds heal but the scars are always there as a reminder.

The view from our front porch on our ranch in central Arizona. It actually rained sideways that day. We got about two inches of rain and the most amazing lightning display. I sure miss these storms.
