Went biking along the trail next to Fanno Creek in Beaverton and saw a lot of beaver activity, including dams and several felled trees like this one.

Marched with the protest in Portland today. Very friendly and peaceful people, but pissed about what’s going on in DC.

Went biking along the Columbia River near Vancouver, WA yesterday and saw dozens of sea lions eating salmon. They were generally headed upstream. Lots of people fishing in boats and along the shore didn’t seem to bother them at all.

We have some daffodils that live along the side of the house where no one can see them. The sun warms the area and they bloom early. I figure we might as well enjoy them inside.

Last bike ride in early December. You can see Mt St Helens 45 mi away and just to the left of it Mt Rainier about 95 miles in the distance.
