Very good news London Bridge Post Office will be staying open after some risk.

Thanks to 650+ residents who signed our petition, and the Post Office for meeting us as ward cllrs.

Still more conversations to be had on the new set up but good progress 👇

Delighted the new pedestrian crossing on Long Lane is now complete.

Something residents have called for for a long time and which we've made sure is delivered using our ward funding.

Glad residents can now enjoy the benefits when walking in this area.

Local residents were absolutely buzzing today about the new crossing that Cllrs Gavin Edwards, Reggie Popoola, and Sandra Rhule have secured.

Great sunny morning out in Nunhead and Queen's Road.

Great to welcome the French Embassy to our Emmaus Greenwich community yesterday.

An opportunity show how the Emmaus model of supporting people who have experienced homelessness works in practice, discuss our campaigns priorities, and compare progress in the UK and France.

Pavement widening in progress on Bermondsey Street.

Part of the ongoing improvements to make the street better for walking, cycling, and enjoying the bars and restaurants.

More to follow later this year!

I was back at Southwark's Overview & Scrutiny Committee last night for an update on investigations into major works failings at Devon Mansions.

I urged that inquiries are completed swiftly to give residents answers on the high costs, poor-quality of some works, and lessons learned.
