Big fan of rugby union, going up mountains and helping people solve complex intelligence analysis problems!
The functionality wasn't terrible, but it was so unreliable - distinctly remember having to do multiple rebuilds when it blew up.

I don't actually think W11 is all that bad (I remember Windows ME and Vista), but I recently jumped to Linux for my gaming PC and haven't looked back.

The US mobilised 16 million personnel and supplied the Soviets with the equipment they needed to survive.

That's more than 'a little' help...

Nasty. Throw the book at him.

Please, read a book.

She is properly electric live.

This is one of my faves (and a shout-out to the drummer who is superb): youtu.be/A29BMj3v86w?...

The train station has been completely inadequate for as long as I can remember. It's a miserable place to try and get away from after a game.

Twickenham has long been a painful stadium to get to, and even worse to escape from.

Using that money to build a honking great stadium up near Birmingham would make an awful lot of sense.

Not necessarily true.

Even if he does step down, just look at the Republican candidates queuing up to replace him. Some of them make Trump look like a moderate.

That was a good read, thank you. Seems a little silly for the MoD to quibble about small arms calibre when we have such gaping holes in our forces.

As you point out, artillery & drones (and I would add air defence) are the deciding factors in Ukraine and we are desperately thin in both areas.

Crimson Tide.

Quite right. The last thing a broadcaster should be doing is promoting the sport they want people to pay them to watch.

Scoring more points than the other team seems like a pretty good reason to me.

Hard to see how this will help Wales, or what else Gatland could have done in the face of some pretty deep issues at the WRU.

For a man whose body is being held together with Pritt Stick, he has an incredible engine. Front runner to start for the Lions, providing his legs don't fall off.

Hey, I used to work for IBM. Compared to that madhouse, MS are absolutely smashing it.
February 1, 2025 at 10:26 PM
Interesting. I think they're probably getting more things right these days than they used to.

Who would have thought they would ever become so Linux-friendly?
February 1, 2025 at 10:21 PM
I don't think that has been true for a long time, but I'm glad Apple works for you.

Unfortunately I need a less restrictive OS for my work.
February 1, 2025 at 10:14 PM
I used to work on MacBook Pros, but they lost me when they moved to RISC. Windows is a much more flexible environment compared to Apple now, and doesn't come with eye-watering hardware costs.

Gaming on Apple is just terrible though. Proton is the way forward.
February 1, 2025 at 10:02 PM
SteamOS/Proton is looking increasingly attractive.

Borthwick's gameplan seems to be working. Curry twins look absolutely horrible to play against, relentless at the breakdown.
February 1, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Given his recent record, I think we probably dodged a bullet.

It's increasingly looking like a lucky escape.
