Some people say keep politics out of sport and stick to football...

There is a very serious point to be made here on a mere football organisation publicly pushing such politicised interpretations of global diplomatic deals and talks.

It's a slippery slope if referees start to describe fouls on the mic to the crowd. Using the word careless is unnecessary. Keep it clinical and just say foul. #CHEFUL

Here is the 2026 #F1 calender. There is the new race in Madrid, but no Imola.

Second pile up of the day at Sainte Devote. This time in the Porsche Supercup. Lots of oil and fluids spilt on the exit. Something to bear in mind for the F1 drivers later #F1 #MonacoGP

In my mind the one thing that the US should take from Trump take 2 is there should surely be more checks and balances in American democracy to stop these cruel acts. Not only against the rest of the world but their own people

NEW: The only Formula 1 team which enjoys the luxury of a second junior squad to develop young talent has no excuse for making sure a poor hiring choice.
Horner said Lawson would thrive "on tracks he knows". So why drop him now?
Red Bull's shock decision to fire Liam Lawson after just two rounds reflects more badly on the team than the drive.

Giedo van der Garde's assertion that Red Bull's treatment of Liam Lawson feels like bullying feels pretty accurate right now #F1

Red Bull need to take accountability for their own mistakes. What happens now if Yuki Tsunoda has poor results? Immediately promote Isack Hadjar? The 2nd Red Bull seat and the environment around it is the problem and everyone knows it. #F1

Using Yuki Tsunoda's temper and percieved immaturity as a reason not to promote him to Red Bull at the end of last season rang hollow when we hear Max Verstappen being very outspoken and angry pretty regularly. It's even more hollow now. #F1

Seems like Liam Lawson being dropped for Yuki Tsunoda is all but confirmed. Questions over Red Bull's management of it's drivers intensifies further. #F1

Liam Lawson could have tested with Red Bull last season when they were considering promoting him. Despite all of the problems Red Bull's second drivers have had, they decided not to. The management of Red Bull should come under scrutiny, not Liam. I feel very sorry for him. #F1

The post-race interviews and cool down room are a part of modern F1 but it does take some of the raw emotion out of the podium celebrations. I'd get them on the podium asap and do all of that afterwards. Have them jump around on the podium like the old days. #oldmanmoan #ChineseGP #F1

As Albon has described, as the season goes on and Red Bull fine tune the car even more to Verstappen's tastes, it gets even more difficult to find confidence in the car as his teammate. I can't see the gap between Verstappen and Lawson getting much better. #ChineseGP #F1

I can see Yuki Tsunoda being in a Red Bull before the season's end. Helmut Marko might need to eat some rare humble pie first though. #ChineseGP #F1

There weren't many characters that summed up F1 growing up like Eddie Jordan. He was proof that having a personality in what was a much more sanitised paddock at that time was possible.

Thinking of all those who knew him today.

This is surely a litmus test for any world leader to prove they are a decent human being. Call out Trump and rally around Ukraine. It should be the easiest decision you are ever asked to make.

I may sound like an old moaner but Spa not being on the F1 calendar every year bothers me. I'm glad it's there at all but that race is so important to the fabric of the sport. I hope this isn't a gradual departure away from F1's valuable history. #F1 #Formula1

The rationale behind Charlotte faking a welsh accent is so weak. I can't believe it wasn't dismissed during it's first stage as an intrusive thought in her head. #TheTraitors

My favourite moment of #TheTraitors so far is the *diplomat* and self professed communication and negotiation expert trying to get other people off the train by volunteering himself only to find himself next to the train track 10 seconds later #traitors
