Messiah: “a figure destined to save a group of people from an undesirable fate.” INTERESTINGLY, one does not proclaim one’s self messiah (that just puts you out of the running!). Others identify the messiah! They observe unconditional loving kindness, honesty, and a role model of dignity and honor.

More messiah meditations… They’re not perfect. Just courageously committed to helping, serving, loving, empowering, BEing the change we want to see in the world. They get mashed by the media, haters, threatened resource hoarders… Messiahs: Fred Rogers, Jimmy Carter, Princess Diana, The Dalai Lama…

Messiah meditations… People blindly believe they’ll “be saved” when “the messiah comes.” Yet, they have no clue beyond a child-mind fantasy how “the messiah” might show up. What if messiahs keep incarnating to love, give wisdom, model kindness, serve, teach… and we mock, demean, and deny them?

Supremely grateful for my spiritual path and where it’s led me. I love that spirituality is the nuanced, magnificent, unconditionally loving world within while religion is the challenge of learning how to share spiritually significant practices with like-minded others. Each path has value. 🙏🏽

Biden talks and his competence, massive accomplishments, and leadership are diminished, pooh-poohed, even in the media… the celeb criminal grifter talks and his empty promises, ignorance, vindictiveness, and meanness are praised, magnified by the emotionally stunted, for-profit dupes. ☹️😬😭

A friend moving to TX sent me an audio file of the holiday commercial playing on the radio there… advertising where to go “MAGA Christmas” shopping. It’s simultaneously shocking, sad, frustrating, & funny. Hmm… wonder why that shite isn’t programmed & playing on radio stations in lib land, CA…

Beware enshitification. It goes… 1: Offer stuff at low, too-good-to-be-true prices. 2: Create the bridge between providers of goods/services and those with wants/needs. 3: Destroy all other bridges. 4: Slowly raise prices for both sides. 5: Profit wildly. 6: Blow it all up. 7: Rinse/repeat.

Human history repeats because we refuse to learn. We refuse to explore, experiment, introspect. We blindly, childishly attach to “tradition” with self-righteousness and grave authority, with sappy emotional manipulation, fear of loss, a faux security blanket. And we are the worse for it.

I wonder when the human species will hit its tipping point. I wonder if we will continue on our overt retrogressive trajectory and tip into catastrophic self-immolation… or whether enough people will see through generations of psychopathic conditioning and wake up, stop the crazy and finally evolve.

Housed and homeless is a weird liminal space. I know some people really like that nomad life, but my system struggles with that. I feel sadness that Wetiko has infected so many people and caused the resource hoarding, meanness, and apathy that keeps so very many traumatized, suffering.

Patriarchy’s cruel irony: we are pressured, forced to deny and dismiss our emotional experience to the point of toxic emotional stuntedness. Our systems simultaneously demand we remain emotionally ignorant *and* in rigid control. Nobody talks about how denying emotions feeds the disease of Wetiko.

Never took to Twitter. Facebook is a polluted, enshitified mess. I’m exploring where to connect virtually with RL friends and to meet others with open minds who practice kindness, actively engage in win-win, are willing to adopt emotionally mature behaviors, and exit from the patriarchal madness.
