In summary, I'll try to come up with some way to become a design system engineer, it may take a long time, but it's worth it to have a goal in my career besides aiming for seniority.

Some people may think it's just a UI kit, and in some cases, yeah, let's keep it at that. But the work towards it will be focused on many areas. Design systems are important, and they must represent a brand/style that can be for everyone.

Making reusable components, focused on accessibility, easy to use and implement, with great adoption across teams in a company just makes me happy. I've been studying and gathering online resources for this, and damn, there's a lot for this being a "niche".

During this past year, I've stumbled upon the Design System we have at King, where I currently work. I've found it the perfect niche where I'm happy working towards a tool that many people can take advantage of. +

I still feel pain sometimes but it's because I still find ways to sit like an idiot.

Tried it on phone and except the weird scroll behavior leaving a small black rectangle at the bottom that happens in phone navigators (due to the top bar hiding and such) everything looks quite fine, good work, now I want to see the finished product!

Should be fixed now. Apparently this was related to some code that only worked if you had device preferences for dark/light mode selected.

Looks awful! Ooops :(( Time to fix some bugs.
