On Darius III of Persia's wiki page

Persian history is fucking ridiculous sometimes. Imagine trying to poison three of your own kings and mainly succeeding 😭

Giving you another banger by Brian Morabito on TikTok, but while you're here, please let me know if the da Vinci code is any good because I only watched it during freaky time and didn't follow the plot in the slightest

This guy may look a little homophobic and nerdy but he does NOT deserve to be called a deadly sin #sloth

What is going on right now with online privacy laws? I'm scared. The world has gone to shit. Take me back to the age of swing. Take me to the roaring 20s and may wall street pass away quietly, not with a boom but with a whisper. It shouldn't have ever gone this way

Thank GOD ai overview is at the top of your results for emergencies, idk what the whole of humanity's compiled efforts would be able to get you without ai overview.

The internet, a cool invention. Ai, also cool. Only one of them is functional at the moment. Make ai optional. Everywhere.

Portrait of Ferdinand II (one of the royals who sent Columbus to do some war crimes) by Joachim Dominguez Becqeur

Another super random old painting. Can you tell I'm going through a couple rabbit holes at once about art? How else would I find all this...

"The Burning of the Books" OR "St. Dominic De Guzman and the Albigensians" by Pedro Berruguete

I keep finding the most random art.

Saint Catherine of Alexandria, Rafael

No idea why it sticks out to me among his works, but my guess it's the trees in the backdrop and the fact I think Alexandria's cool as shit. I spent ages looking for an HD version so it better work on here!

OKAY I'm going to get serious now. AI music on Spotify. I'm not strictly anti AI, but I want extremely strict barriers and rules.

There's a band called Coyote Kid. Love em. Recommend all their stuff except the latest single, which is AI, and this is NOT their fault. (1/?)

By Brian Morabito on TikTok, not mine.

Since this randomly happened to become an art praise account, why WOULDN'T I post it here on BlueSky? Sure I'll probably yap about other things too but I guess I'm in a minor art phase? 🤷 I'm usually not.

Some favorites from Dali. Number 2 is my lock screen since ages ago.

Fun Salvador Dali fact - I once killed a man and buried him in Jylland, Denmark. There's a tiny wooden cross there and a key to my bicycle hidden nearby.

So remember how Biden was mentally unstable, immoral, too old and physically worn down, and everyone said he should step down but he refused? He was, yeah, but more importantly, now a year later Trump is in exactly his shoes on all fronts in a way he's never been before. Please step down omg.

Here we got the most famous work of David Hockney. I can't yap about him much, I don't know enough, but there was a real good parody of it in Bojack Horseman.

I once did an analysis of this one in school. Maybe not my favorite, but I do still like it.

While I can make pretty good food, I also once made a sandwich of peanut butter and reindeer-cheese paste and found it... Not terrible. And I'm a pretty picky eater so that's surprising tbh

Someone once said this picture of Captain Price makes him look like a horny badger... I hate to admit it but kinda true. It is a really bad pic lmao

There are three paintings by Salvador Dali in the Vatican museum

Here's one of them, with a closeup on one of the figures (pics 1 and 2)

Pic 3 is by Carlo Carrà, that's one that stuck with me from there too

Pic 4 - The resurrection of Lazarus, Pietro Annigoni

Rafael/Raphael/Rafaello Sanzio is so fucking cool.

I visited his grave in the Pantheon in Rome once. For some reason I'm kinda sad about his death right now even though it was 500 years ago lol

Salvador Dali did not just paint, he also made other types of art, most notably films. The short film Un Chien Andalou (An Andalusian Dog) is probably the most famous one, featuring a scene of a woman's eye being cut through by a razor. It was a real eye, though not human - most believe a goat's. 👁️
