The worst part of it is that measles can reset the immune system to zero, meaning that even antivaxxers who were vaccinated in childhood for other diseases now have no protection from them. Most will survive measles, but not polio, diphtheria, COVID etc. Catching mumps can make adult males sterile.

I'm glad SSPE is getting discussed. Too few people realize the measles is one of many viruses that has late effects that are worse than the initial infection. People can't make informed decisions without being informed.
