Honestly, an attack on America and its core values

It saddens me that in the face of a tragedy we have the power to prevent those that could stop it say they can’t because of “God’s will” but if their God exists the way they insist then he would have given us all of these tools that they reject

Eventually, a helicopter flew over and offered to save him. He once again insisted God would save him. Finally he drowned and went to heaven. When he met God he asked “why didn’t you save me?” To which God said “Well hell I sent you 2 boats and a helicopter!”

Someone on a boat came by and asked if he wanted a ride away, to which he said “no, God will save me. Later a rescue boat came by and offered him a ride out to which he again replied “No, God will save me”.
