Yeah its a bit confusing. I know there's "social class" which is a bit different since its more to do with where you grew up and cultural signifiers rather than directly economic factors

Yes. Its why the distinction between the two is mostly a political rather than an economic one until you get to the high end of professional work (i.e. people who still need to work but earn enough they can put the majority of it into investments and still be fine)
