Buy trans books. Preferably, buy them in hardcopy so they can't be remote deleted.
On that note:

Trans authors (I mean authors who are trans, NOT cis people who write about trans people), drop your book links here and I'll try to repost as many as I can throughout the day.

Cis people: Repost trans authors' book links.

Cis people who want to complain about being excluded: gtfo
Being a trans author is fucking weird right now. Hell is actively unfolding all around us but I still need to be like, "hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book? It won't make anything better, but it's kinda fun?"

So....hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book?

How is it possible my skin can trap and restrain such feral sadness? When the body vibrates with the power of it and #misery seeps and weeps and creeps from every pore? Breath shallowed to starve oxygen from an explosion of despair, for I have found it can be tamed if I am very, very still.

We don’t have enough words for the sensation of cold.
From the tingle of toes poking out from the duvet,
To the misery of sodden clothes clinging to your limbs,
To that chill when frosty ground is darned with a thousand stitches of light by the needle rays of winter sun.

ok this is an extremely middle-aged thing for me to say, but guys like Dorsey + countless other rich guys have some utilizable smarts but no wisdom. you have to actually pursue wisdom and the only payoff is personal - you can't monetize wisdom. smarts without wisdom are in real terms worthless

It loves company, hates a crowd. It delights in rain, loathes the smell of petrichor. It barricades your bridges, refuses to burn them. It coaxes you to sleep, threads a branch of thorns through all your dreams. It knows your names so very well but never learns the map of your interior. #whistpr

“Generous” is an excellent way to describe this work, which I have been fortunate enough to read through! Generous in volume and generous in spirit. Definitely looking forward to this book!
One of the illustrations for my upcoming collection "When Your Heart is a Broken Thing," a generous selection of horror, fantasy, fairy tales, and ghost stories with 19 original illustrations by me!
