Been a couple of nights I haven't managed to sleep properly. This is the first one I could, finally. So I'm going to try my best to continue.

I get you really. Ive seen that happen a lot. In some bands I played in someone would bring a great idea, but it just didn't fit the band's vibe and we'd end up dropping it. Honestly, since it's all about creativity and there's no marketing involved, I'd say just follow what feels right. 😊👌

Interesting that you keep stressing the creative angle. In my case having those boundaries (one album being more ambient, another DAWless, another cinematic hybrid, etc) actually brought me into unexpected sonic places. Is that what you mean? And if so.. Why switch now? I'm genuinely curious

Oh! I've basically done the opposite: I've used the same artist name for everything. It's not like I have tons of releases but the albums and singles I've put out are all over the place in style, production and audience. Feels like using different project names could help me group things better. 😅

Ah Unity is such a breeze. In my case (game audio) the integration with middleware such as fmod works surprisingly well.
