We need to move towards a global regulatory framework for social media to promote online safety and privacy, because we certainly cannot trust people like Mark Zuckerberg, however innocent they might start out.

We are under no illusions about the state of Shropshire Council or its finances, but there is no doubt, the situation is the result of Tory mismanagement. We need a new administration urgently to begin the path to restoring the council to a functioning public body.
