39 years ago today, I swore an oath to Queen Liz, got paid £30, got a train ticket to Newark and travel instructions for Wed, the 15th. Went to the pub, then went to see AC/DC at the Manchester Apollo. 22 years in the RAF, loved (nearly) every minute. Oh, and AC/DC were very good.
