The next time I saw you I was back on my bullshit: longing gazes and loaded glances galore. I sat beside you while we counted our money, and without really thinking about it, I looked for the cut by your left ear. At first I didn't see it, but then you tilted your head to answer a question and I watched your skin ripple. Right by your ear." TEXT: Salon Sinister. Meet Contributor Abigail Waldron, Artist of "I'm Going to Rid the World of People Like You". Abigail Waldron is a historian who specializes in queer American history. She is the Author of "Queer Screams: A History of LGBTQ+ Survival Through the Lens of American Horror Cinema" (2022) and is a contributing writer for Horror Press.
