Keep defending them with 2 points. You seem to miss the 1000s of pics of salmon covered in sea lice amplfied by the farms.
Your defence of this.. it's obvious you're in it for the money. Everything you put forward is weak. You have two arguements for the farms, we have 1000s against. Do better.

I think what’s more notable is that they feel it necessary to state that their salmon variety contains NO chicken. Commercial salmon farms in Tasmania actually feed the salmon a mix that includes chicken by-products. (We’re meant to be reassured by the farms’ assertion that it’s all cooked & ground)

Phasing out #salmonfarms is NOT a part of his legacy. He failed to get it done in his own timeline.
The FNs fighting to keep the farms are a dozen or so wealthy chiefs who are deeply corrupt. They ignore the majority of their own members who want these factory salmon farms out of the water. #getout

This is nothing in comparison.
This week, Luke Martin, the chief executive of Salmon Tasmania, confirmed that salmon was being harvested for human consumption from infected pens: “Yes, absolutely, and that’s standard.”

Exclusive: Salmon from infected pens sold for human consumption
Weeks before mass salmon deaths were revealed in Tasmania, the government quietly changed the designation of the bacteria killing the fish – which the industry now admits are being sold from infected ...

Nothing redeems this industry, not a single thing. Chile is by far the worst for all the things #salmonfarms do wrong. Greedy, elitist industry that is totally unnecessary.

Not alone indeed. We have fought them for 30 years here in BC, Canada. We are getting them out, though. Wherever they are, these farms cause horrific harm. Avoid this junk at all costs.
