Like it’s actually way more complex and challenging material but I feel like a lot of people treat it like this whimsical, almost exotic or Disney like ideal that glosses over the ugliness it acknowledges. It’s about the good with the bad

I sit at the park sometimes to read during my lunch break and this park is absolutely massive with tons of empty space and of course this random man decides to walk straight toward me to talk to me and proceeds to scoff when I take my shit and leave with my pepper spray in hand I’m so tired

Ooooo I’ve been wanting to get into gouache really bad! Do you have any tutorial recommendations or are you self taught?
