Early on in development for Monument Valley 3 I worked on a concept inspired by the Lempuyang Temple Bali. The goal was to get an idea of how we could push the level of detail as well as adding juice to how we handled lighting.

This didn't make the cut but I still think it looks good!

In a very early concept for Monument Valley 3, I was obsessed with the idea of the boat companion being a dragon like in wind waker. I wanted the player to be able to ride its head while sailing. Here was my concept for a first meeting!

Here was an early concept for it - I was like what if it was like a cool window to a garden and plants happened as you play the level.... My concepts are always messy but they get the point across! I actually used one of my arted levels from Monument Valley 2 as reference for the window idea.

We both wanted a level that pulled at players heartstrings, losing an important place to a natrual disaster as well as an important mentor figure.

I was really inspired by Wan Shi Tong’s library in Avatar the Last Airbender!!

Progress for The Temple chapter in Monument Valley 3. I worked with Olesia Zaidman in concepting out a scene where the goal was to have an ominous vibe and waters that were perilously rising as you puzzled through.

We both worked on potential puzzles for it and began blocking out our thoughts.

One of my favourite levels I got to do art for in Monument Valley 3, designed by Mairi Florence.

Absolutely loved the idea of showing townsfolk behind game elements!! It was such a challenege to balance visually but I'm super happy where it ended up.

Another concept from early development of Monument Valley 3 to the final version of it. I was thinking about how to make a big grand entrance for the player to set the scene.

Fun fact: There were 2 years between these images! You never know when an old concept can come back during development.

I also did a silly version where you pull the whole level out of a portal aha we did not know how to make that into a puzzle so we didn't use it in the end.

During development of Monument Valley 3 I got to work on loads of cool concepts I'm super proud of.

This one was an early version of our portal mechanic, I was very excited by the potential mechanics for it. It ended up becoming a really fun few puzzles in the game ✨

I'm not sure if it was automated, but it seemed to be because my accounts country was set to a different country than I am playing from but its super hard to change country as you need specific proof of address that I don't have and I can't change it myself.

After 8 years of playing @playoverwatch2.bsky.social I have been banned permanently with basically zero knowledge as to why this has happened to me.

When appealing I was told I was cheating which is something I've never done - I don't even play ranked as its just for fun for me.
