I saw my first Osprey of 2025 today - watching it swoop out of the sky and snatch a fish from the Potomac reminded me of Marjorie Taylor Greene's feet.

He simply shifted ownership without gaining new cash in a stock-for-stock exchange. Twitter shareholders have now become xAI shareholders. It's just "funny money" on the balance sheet's equity section, which could potentially weaken xAI's value. Let's hope for the best.
X is not worth 33 billion. He basically just paid himself $33B from another company, presumably to pay off his debts from the initial buy because he knows he'll never be able to raise the capital from X itself.
