My Friday Self telling my Monday Self that I chose this, and everything’s actually wonderful.

SEVERANCE. When you have to regularly pause a show to absorb the genius thing they just did, that’s a MASTERPIECE. The writing, acting, directing, music, the whole mind-blowing premise. It’s just a miracle of art. Unless a marching band shows up to save us all, the rest of this day will disappoint.

This will be my husband and me, desperately searching for additional episodes after this season ends. One more week. Sigh….

Thankful for my little Tennessee school today, for the student who decorated my classroom door for College Week, and for the grandmother who donated generously to our humble but persistent Theatre Arts program. Art goes on. ❤️

Remember this from Happy Feet? It made an impression, because I continue to cut these plastic rings open before discarding. As I was cutting up the Powerade plastic this morning I was thinking how pointless these small things feel now. But let me NOT strangle a penguin on top of everything else.
