One of our corn cobs was a double yolker! Not a great harvest because of the stupid weather. Some still on the plants will be consumed as we pick it.

Absolutely pissing it down again this morning at just the wrong time as the corn is trying to pollinate. Doesn't auger well for the last harvest of the year. We don't grow much over summer here in Queensland as it's too humid with too many bugs.

Behold the post birthday dinner kitchen carnage. Initiate rectification.

Tonight's "from scratch" was bacon and mushroom tortellini followed by baked ricotta cheesecake. I don't normally do pudding, but it was his birthday. He I still need and feed him now he's 64.
