Well done, NYT. The last big nationwide protest (Hands Off in April) was buried on p. 18. When millions of people rise up against tyranny, it's a front-page, full-banner story. I'm glad to see the Times is finally waking up.

The NYC mayoral primary is almost here. If you live in NYC and you're a registered Dem:
1) VOTE! (early voting 6/14-6/22; election day 6/24)
2) Be sure to rank 5 candidates. Use all 5 spots! We're so lucky to have ranked choice voting. It's our best chance to defeat Cuomo.
3) DON'T RANK CUOMO

I love this story. I love this photo. I loved her spark, humor, brilliant mind, and zest for life. I loved how elegant she was, yet also down to earth. I loved how she always smelled of Scotch and cigarettes and Nuit de Noel. I miss her monstrously. Happy Mother's Day, Joanne ❤️

A few years ago, my dear friend and awesome human, Joe Kibler, made a beautiful movie called Walk On. It's finally back on Apple TV and Amazon. Another dear friend and awesome human (and Joe's wife), Carey Cox, is back on Hulu in The Handmaid's Tale. You should be watching both❤️
