Limerick I wrote last night watch blood moon over SW WA and awaiting #PiDay 2025 :)
To start our Pi Day twenty twenty-five,
A lunar eclipse and blood moon went live.
The earth's shadow took flight,
The moon shone not bright white,
Instead, a red glare caused much lively jive.

While not fully developed, a couple good ideas to think about. Scale of distance vs scale of time. I've noted differences between AllTrail app and my Garmin watch when hiking. Garmis is pathetic at counting flights of stairs. I wonder if it is the same "sampling" problem? medium.com/@saswatrp/ex...

I don't drink Horizon brand milk, so maybe this is old and has been corrected. Or maybe they meant to use "carbon positive" meaning maybe moving positively to reduce carbon footprint? Seems like a stretch. I'm used to seeing "carbon negative" or "carbon neutral".
