Also, I'm trying my own NaNo, and scaling it waaay down (writing a chapter book; goal is 25k), which is much more manageable for me, especially without the NaNo supports. #kidlitchat

Not a teacher and not Poe, but my grandpa always recited a poem (that he learned in elementary school, I think!) to us in the winter: The Cremation of Sam McGee. Such a weird, creepy, but AWESOME ONE!! #kidlitchat

I loved Encyclopedia Brown! I've been chasing the high of figuring out the mystery before reading the solution ever since then. Definitely channeled some of that type of story into my middle grade novel... #kidlitchat

I love them so much!!! Haha. I don't allow myself to do them too often, because I really hyper-focus on them... not much else gets done!
