Duly noted and followed. Now I’m thinking of seeing Pete Murray going into The Dorchester around 1965 which also brings to mind being in the queue for the ferry at Dover behind Victor Sylvester. So now I’m feeling very old.

This is quite shocking. I am from Wolverhampton and loved it. 50 years ago I had friends who taught and studied there.

All my cast iron cookware is over 70 years old. Kenwood Chef 53 years and also Kenwood hand mixer 43 years (bought half price in the Co-op for £5). All of them in very regular use
