It’s a common misconception that Jimmy Carter was good as a U.S. President. Obviously the bar is incredibly low, but please understand that Carter *also* served the weapons manufacturers and enforced U.S. imperialism—committing mass slaughters around the world, for global U.S. hegemony.

These rich celebrities are useful tools to distract & placate the masses. It’s fine to like Beyoncé’s music, obviously, but please just see celebs for who they are and what they promote. They serve the vicious U.S. empire quite well.
