Taken from space, the photo shows all of Michigan and the Great Lakes with an icy, snowy pattern whooshing from west to east. Can definitely see the lake-effect snow along the western edge of Michigan.

Commemorated MLK day by completing two tasks I've been meaning to do for some time. (1) Replenishing the wax in my RBG prayer candle, which I'll no doubt need over the next 4 years. (2) Deactivating my old X account. Feel so much better already! #mlk #resist

Harvesting common milkweed seeds to prepare for cold-stratification. Many of the ethereal, white fluffy hairs are floating around my kitchen now, like fairy dust. Feels good to nurture something on this cold winter day. #nativeplants #milkweed
