Negative drives clicks. Very sad but for NYT, clicks are what drive their model. We have let the attention economy hijack the truth economy.

Yes. In that sense, the way that Wall Street got a free pass and big bonuses after everyone lost their houses in the mortgage crisis under Obama is just as much of a problem. Both parties are too beholden to big donors / big money.
