I like this discounted "parent rate" idea from @britishecologicalsociety.org ! 👏 I'd have also appreciated a "very pregnant" rate for recognising sessions missed due to naps but perhaps that's a step too far 😂

Passed my 2nd ju-jitsu grading today 😃 (not actually hip-throwing my 4yr old 😂)! I wish you could get research funding in a similar way - 3hrs of high intensity “sciencing” and you get a round of funding (and a belt and certificate of course 😉)

Saw in my 42nd birthday with my 1st Ju-Jitsu grading! Big milestone to get back to martial arts after 2 kids + 2 knee ops 👊🥳 Never too old to learn something new - good affirmation for "meaning of life" birthday 😉 Now just for these bruises to go down 🤣

We did it! 1st use of VR in teaching at @lancasteruni.bsky.social taking our students to an underwater world 😃 includes data collected from our lovely students to allow us to assess its effectiveness. Thanks to The Hydrous for providing the underwater coral reef experience FREE thehydro.us
