It seems like they are keenly aware that they are not a contender.
In all sincerity, I don't think a trade for depth makes us a contender.
We need SO MUCH shooting and defense that even bringing in a dream scenario deal like Kessler/Sexton/3&d wing, I think we would still be screwed.

Kenny is my favorite wrestler on the planet (and in my top 3 favorite ever), he does not need to be the guy here. I'd love for him to be a part of the story, but it should absolutely, unequivocally be a young franchise piece that topples Mox. Otherwise, it was all for nothing.

Takeshita, Fletcher, Cole (if he can get healthy), Hook, Perry, Sammy (if he can stay healthy and get better as a character) are also huge future Staples too, but can't fit everyone in one post.

I love OC. He used to do comedy improv shows with a couple of my best friends. He is also 40, we need younger guys. Party need a LOT of work on the mic.
The future guys are Swerve, Will, Hanger, MJF, Jay, Hobbs, Ricochet. The feud needs bigger stars.
