Could he in turn sell it to an American billionaire friend and use the proceeds to pay the deficit just a little bit? Trump could offer to pay the taxes on such a lavish gift and save taxpayers that bill. Just a thought on how to deal with this unethical dilemma.

Why would they accede when they have an endowment fund of~$14.8 billion? The purpose of an endowment is to support the university's operations and mission, such as student aid, faculty salaries, research, and other initiatives.
