Examining the number of days soldiers held power after a coup in the last 2 decades, we can pinpoint a dramatic shift. Between 2002-2020, the median number of days soldiers held power was only 22 days. Post-2021, that number has jumped to over 1,000 days. That's 50 times longer. 4/
