So artists (who are workers) shouldn't own their art? I am literally advocating for artists to own their art and have the authority to create the protections they need!

What you want is for creators (workers) to own their art. That is literally what this entire thread was about in the first place. You actually do not disagree with the original post, you just don't understand what worker ownership is.

If there will always be self interested people, then power should be distributed more evenly to minimize the potential for one of them to screw over a whole bunch of people without repercussion!

Worker ownership is meaning you don't have to trust the CEO or shareholders to know better than you what's right for YOUR job.

Great point! Perhaps we should give ownership to the workers then, so that we don't end up in a situation where one person with bad intentions can exercise a disproportionate amount of power for personal gain.
