Did a face study using @mrjamesyork.bsky.social as a model. I decided to conquer my fear of using a black sketchbook. I tried out a brand of colored pencils called Staedler for his skin tone, and I don't like them. They made the skin look lifeless... 😞 I might redo this one using my Faber-Castells.

Here is a face study that I did on Monday. There is plenty of room for me to grow on my art journey. I hope to expand and become better than what I am now. ❤️
