The MAGA/Russia alliance is, in some ways, easily explained - MAGA and Trump want a government and society just like what Putin and his cronies have created. The anointing of Musk is the embodiment of those twisted ideals.

Trump and Musk’s hatred of Zelenskyy is textbook bully insecurity and envy. Deep down they know they can never match his character and integrity and that eats them up inside. Their insults and lies are the pressure valve for that inner turmoil.

Pundits go on and on about the Democratic party's "messaging" problem but at this point Americans should not have to be hand-held and fed platitudes and political slogans. Wake the hell up to what's happening. Authoritarianism is not "coming." It's here, and is swallowing us whole.

The Trump/Russian alliance and unilateral "peace" talks are all a set up to blame Ukraine for the continuation or escalation of the war. They know Ukraine will never accept their fraudulent deal. It is meant to alienate Ukraine and justify the GOP's rejection of military support.

Why is the media so compelled to give that "without evidence" qualification when they refer to the typical inane and ignorant statements that Don the Con makes? Just say he LIED. That's it.

I see reports calling today's certification an "unremarkable day." Yes, it's like the Joker becoming police commissioner of Gotham four years after his two bit villains and cultists trashed and terrorized the City. Otherwise, "unremarkable."

I'd like to believe that men like Trump throughout history have always met an ignominious end. I hope this election will inevitably lead to a type of justice or vindication for all of us who stood against everything he represents.

The big unknown is whether the incompetence and chaos of the administration will shift the electorate or will the public be further desensitized to craziness and forget normalcy. After all it only took less than four years for mass amnesia to set in over the public and to re-elect the lunatic.
