One of them had her twins while I was teaching there and had to go on bed rest for the final 2 months of the semester and me and the other prof were immediately like "what can we take over for her" because that's often what I find women think vs. Men in the workplace.

While I'm not a mom/ not tenured, I'm a former prrof & both other women in the 3 person theatre dept I taught in for 4 yrs before leaving the college were both moms (& had their kids beforehand). Both are now tenured/tenure-track. I think having an all-women dept helped make space for it
