yeah which makes sense, but i think if they showed some more of WHAT she was actually sacrificing and the difficulties and solitude that comes with being a leader the story would've been stronger

what she would rather be doing, which makes the sacrifice feel less impactful. compare this to focalors, who also dies to save her nation. we know she would've rather lived as a human, and she's scared in the face of death, and knowing this adds to the emotion of her sacrifice
