Thank you very much!! Learning to be kind to my body was the biggest challenge! HRT also really helped, as soon as my dysphoria got a bit better, I was finally able to make a change

Yess!! It took me around 7 years to get to this point... It was a two steps forward, one step back kind of progress. But any progress is worthy of celebration, and these "check points" really helped me to keep going!!

Aah thank you!! My partner cuts it, she learned to do mullets because no one could get it right (plus after covid, we didn't have money for haircuts anymore lmao. They got so expensive!!)

I hope I could help a little, as I said I think it's very personal to everyone and what works for me might not work for you! It depends on where you live, your body type, illnesses, disabilities and relationships

I think for lasting results, you must do it out of love and not hate (for your body). You can try and fail as many times as you need to, it's completely okay! Try doing it in babysteps, find methods that work for you and try to make it fun (for eg. with new recipes)

- I also have a chronic illness which is getting worse, but it inspired me to get more healthy, and eating more healthy foods naturally led to weightloss. It takes an extreme amount of willpower to do any kind of diet, especially if you're AuDHD and have ED...

- I wasn't doing well mentally and was addicted to overeating. HRT really helped me to feel more comfortable in my body, which was crutial to me. I also got a lot of support from my partner; even when I failed again and again, no matter how I looked she loved me, which helped me keep going -

Thank you very much!! I think it is extremely complex and very personal to everyone so I can only share my own experiences; I learned that if I want to lose weight properly and be healthy, I have to get better mentally first. I have lost 15+ kilograms 3 times before, but I always got fat again, bc -
